Built for one-off and small-batch machines
Most packaging machines are a standard base with customer-specific changes: different formats, change parts, guarding or controls. That means a new parts list for every order. In AssembleFlow you import the BOM for each machine from Excel or your CAD export, keep one parts list per machine and share stock across all jobs.
From parts list to purchase orders
- Send RFQs and purchase orders straight from the parts list, after checking stock.
- One purchase order per supplier, with PDF export and a supplier link for online confirmation.
- See which deliveries are late against the dates you need them, and how many days remain to your FAT date.
Deliveries that arrive in pieces
Bought-in parts often arrive in several deliveries. Record partial deliveries against each PO line: for example 40 ordered, 28 arrived, 12 outstanding. Log shortages, wrong, damaged or rejected parts, and attach delivery notes, material certificates and certificates of conformity to the order line, so the paperwork for food and pharma customers stays with the parts.
Know the job cost before the machine ships
Track job cost against budget, follow actual spend by purchase type and turn the figures into a customer quote. At the end of the project, produce a priced spare parts list and a parts manual for each customer.
What AssembleFlow does not do
It is not a full ERP. It does not roll up quantities of repeated subassemblies or merge identical part numbers into one purchase order line, so we recommend importing a flat "Parts only" BOM from your CAD system, which already lists each part once with its total quantity.
